Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-08-17 — Bigie.us is currently in beta.

Plain-language summary, written to actually be read: we collect what Bigie needs to remember you and answer you, we don't sell it, and you can wipe it whenever you want with the Reset button in the app.

What we collect

Where it's processed

Your data is stored in MongoDB Atlas. To actually function, your messages are sent to the specific outside services that do the real work: Groq (chat and voice transcription), Cartesia (voice replies), and Tavily (live web search, only when a search is actually performed). Each only receives what it needs to do its specific job, not your full account.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it for advertising. We don't read your conversations for any reason other than making the product work and, if you ever report a problem, troubleshooting that specific issue with your permission.

How long we keep it

Your memory and conversation history stay until you either hit Reset in the app (wipes it clean, keeps your account) or ask us to delete your account entirely, at which point everything tied to it is removed.

Who this is for

Bigie.us is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children. If you use Bigie to help track things for your kids (like a school schedule), that's you managing your own household information, not a child using the product.

Beta status

This product is actively being built. Our practices here will get more formal as it grows, but the core commitment — your data is yours, never sold, deletable on request — won't change.
